The 2015 Wiseco John Penton GNCC is the eighth stop of the 2015 Grand National Cross Country racing series and was held at the Sunday Creek Raceway in Millfield, Ohio from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7.  Racers and fans experienced dusty conditions on a fast race course with plenty of competition for the podium. But the event is more than just a race. The John Penton is one of the longest-running GNCC’s and is a family affair, attracting RVs and trucks full of smiling kids, proud parents and prouder grandparents. The atmosphere fills with incessant engine revs and exhaust notes and features the distinct olfactory combination of oil and dust. Race winners must champion not only the other riders, but also the rigorous climbs, jumps and corners of the course itself.
